Top smartphone launches in 2021: You don’t have to burn a
hole in your pocket while buying the latest smartphone, just check out our
handy guide to the top smartphone launches in July. These are the most-awaited
and affordable flagship devices expected to launch in the country.
1/6 Top smartphone launches in 2021: If you are
in the market for a smartphone with powerful specifications, it is easy to get
dissuaded by the high prices, especially on flagship phones. However, you don’t
have to spend a large amount of money while trying to get your hands on a
device with the latest powerful Snapdragon or MediaTek processor as there are
many affordable devices coming to the market in the future. Here’s a list of
devices from Poco F3 GT, Oppo Reno 6 Pro to Asus 8Z that boast flagship
specifications and they won’t even burn a hole in your pocket when they are
launched. (Evan Blass/Twitter)
2/6 Oppo Reno 6 Pro: The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G is
set to launch in a week’s time, and the phone is set to be one of the most
powerful smartphones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It will
also come with a 90Hz AMOLED display, a 4500mAh battery and the company’s 65W
fast charging. The device also sports a 64MP + 8MP+ 2MP rear camera setup and a
32MP selfie shooter on the front. The Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G pricing is not yet
known, but we will know more when the device launches next week. (Oppo)
3/6 Poco F3 GT: Poco makes some of the most
value for money smartphones in the industry, and the Poco F3 GT is expected to
be the company’s next flagship killer device. Like the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G, this
upcoming device will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset under the
hood. The device will also come with an AMOLED display and is expected to
support fast charging and a game-specific feature – dedicated gaming keys that
could appeal to dedicated gamers. Poco is expected to launch the device in
July. (GSMArena)
4/6 Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: In recent years,
Samsung has been launching affordable models of its flagship smartphones, which
make certain compromises, while offering most of the high-performance
specifications. The Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) released last year offered
excellent specs for the asking price, and it looks like Samsung could have a
successful run with the rumoured Galaxy S21 FE this year. However, with the
company’s pricing for the Galaxy S21, it remains to be seen how low the Galaxy
S21 FE could offer and what features it might drop in order to sell at a lower
price.
5/6 Poco X3 GT: While the Poco F3 GT is likely
to launch with a more powerful chipset, the company is also expected to launch
another device in the country -- the Poco X3 GT, a device powered by the
MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset. While it is a capable processor, the device
will also support 5G connectivity and is expected to come with a large 5000mAh
battery and a 120Hz display, although this will be an LCD panel as opposed to
the Poco F3 GT’s OLED panel. (Gadgets360)
6/6 Asus 8Z: While it was previously rumoured
that the Asus 8Z would arrive in June, the Asus 8Z did not arrive in the
country last month. While its siblings, the Asus Zenfone 8 and the Zenfone 8
Filp were launched two months ago, the company’s smartphones for India are set
to be the Asus 8Z and the Asus 8Z Flip. Expected to arrive with the flagship
Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, the device is expected to arrive with a
compact form factor. Meanwhile, the Asus 8Z Flip is expected to come with flip
cameras and the same flagship processor. (Asus)
