Tech News The iPhone 13 Pro camera module is effort to be more larger than the one on the iPhone 12 Pro, leaks intimate |
Apple is going to launch the iPhone 13 series
later this year around fall and leaks about the new iPhones have started doing
the rounds online already. One of the latest image leaks hints towards the fact
that there are larger cameras incoming with the new series, particularly with
the Pro models. A tipster recently shared an image of an iPhone 12 Pro placed
inside an iPhone 13 Pro case and the photo suggests that the new smartphone
will have a significantly large camera module. This could mean an increased
number of sensors on the camera module or that the sensors might be getting
larger.
The tipster who goes by the name of Unclean
shared an image of the iPhone 13 series case on his Weibo account. While he
claimed that it was an iPhone 13 Pro Max case, another tipster who goes by the
name of Denarius tweeted that it is an iPhone 13 Pro case. In the photo shared
by both the tipsters, you can see the iPhone 12 Pro inserted in the bigger case
to show the increased size of the camera module on the upcoming iPhone.
Based on the leaked case photo, the iPhone 13
Pro is probably going to come with a square-shaped rear camera module like
we’ve seen on the iPhone 12 series and is going to be placed on the top left
corner as well. But on the iPhone 13 Pro series, the module looks significantly
larger than what we’ve seen on the iPhone 12 Pro.
The iPhone 12 Pro comes with three sensors and a
flash housed inside the camera module. The iPhone 13 Pro might either come with
more sensors or larger sensors since there is more real estate on the module
this time around. We do not have any information about which one it is going to
be. Rumors indicate that the iPhone 13 Pro cameras may come with a sensor-shift
stabilization technology that we’ve not had in the iPhone 12 Pro series.
On the other hand, Apple might also incorporate
larger sensors on the iPhone 13 Pro series and that would mean improvements in
several areas including being able to capture more light. It could also mean
better focus. We’ll have to wait till September to find out more.
